My thanks go to SCS member Harry Fecitt who provided an article about 1/12th Battalion (Pioneers) The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment in Macedonia, which recently appeared here as part of our online commemorations of the First Battle of Doiran:
I am pleased to bring to your attention a further article by Harry which can be found online at the Kaiser’s Cross website:
This battalion was part of 65th Brigade, 22nd Division and served in Macedonia from 1915 to 1919, taking part in both Battles of Doiran (1917 and 1918).
If you have material on the campaign that you would like to share through this website – or would like to submit for our journal, The New Mosquito – please contact the Society using this contact form.
