This is a bound photograph album and personal diary of Kathleen May Jenner Davies covering the period she worked as a volunteer for the Serbian Relief Fund, between October 9th 1916 and August 1917. It spans a turbulent period, which tore the Serbian nation apart and saw hundreds of thousands flee their homes, and the battlefield, as their forces and the Allies took on the might of the Bulgaro-German army. The diary is packed with dramas of a personal nature and describes human tragedies of much greater impact, the tremors of which are still affecting the world to this day.
