Landscape Artist of the Year 2018: The Winning Commission
Cameras follows the winner of the 2018 Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year competition to Greece and FYROM as they create an artwork to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War. This final programme features members of the SCS as the winning artists and film crew accompanied the September 2018 SCS tour group for three days. NEW BOOK : “So once more it was bundle and go!”
The New Mosquito of September 2016 contained a fascinating article entitled ‘4034 Trooper James Scott Anderson, 1/2 Scottish Horse’. Written by Ann Walker -James’s daughter – it contains an account of his service as a scout in Macedonia from 1916 to 1918. What makes it especially remarkable is that this detailed narrative was written from memory many years later. Did your relative fight at the Battle of Kosturino in 1915?
Factual television production company ‘Storyvault Films’ is currently producing a documentary on the Salonika campaign, in particular the Battle of Kosturino in 1915.
