Using PayPal for payments to the SCS

We use PayPal as the most cost-effective, safe and secure way we know of to collect payments to the Society.
There are two ways to use PayPal:
(A) Using your own, previously established, PayPal account.
(B) By credit or debit card. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay by credit or debit card.
Follow the steps below for either A or B.

A. Using your PayPal account to pay

You can use your PayPal to pay the Society. Simply click the ‘Pay by PayPal’ button.

Now follow the instructions to log into your PayPal account. Check the amount and details are correct, and then confirm your payment.

B. Using PayPal to pay by Credit Card or Debit Card

You can use PayPal to pay by credit or debit card. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit or debit card but on most browsers, and by default, PayPal will ask you to sign up to its service. However, you do not need to create a PayPal account – just be sure to deselect the default option (see Step 3 below).

  1. If you want to pay by card, click the CREDIT CARD ICONS and pay as a PayPal guest.

  1. Enter your persoanal and credit/debit card details

  1. If you do not want to create a PayPal account, be sure to deselect the default option that would save your information and create a PayPal account.
  1. You can now agree to pay.
