The New Mosquito is the journal of the Salonika Campaign Society. It takes its name and the design of its logo from The Mosquito, ‘the official organ of the Salonika Reunion Association’.

First produced in April 2000, it started as a slim, photocopied newsletter but has developed into a professionally printed, glossy magazine. It is published twice a year, in April and September, in recognition of the two major British offensives of the campaign, in 1917 and 1918 respectively. Over the years there has been a number of special and commemorative issues. The contents of the journal (correct at April 2024) can be seen here.

All members of the Society, UK and overseas, receive twice a year by post, The New Mosquito as it is published. Members of the Society can read and download all past issues in the SCS Members’ Area, which is a separate website solely for members of the Society.

The Society thanks the past editors of The New Mosquito for their dedication in producing a publication of such high quality, interest, and accuracy. This tradition continues today under the stewardship of James Bearman, who would be pleased to receive and consider articles for publication in the journal. James can be contacted here.

The Society has a number of printed copies of previous journals, the details of which can be found here.* Should you wish to obtain a back copy of a printed journal, please contact Membership Secretary Keith Edmonds at scsmembership@outlook.com
