Merry Christmas!

I’m pleased to share this Christmas card from Noah, our adopted mule, who lives at the Redwings Horse Sanctuary Centre at Caldecott, and add my own festive wishes to all our members, friends and visitors.

Merry Christmas from your Adoption Star - a Christmas card from Noah, the adopted mule of the SCS, who resides at the Redwings Horse Sanctuary Centre at Caldecott in Norfolk.

And here’s a suitably seasonal equine photo from the Macedonian campaign …

"In the Snow" - a photo showing horses and mules with men from 28th Divisional Signals (RE).
“In the Snow” – a photograph from an album which belonged to Sapper Harry Smith of 28th Divisional Signals (RE), probably from the winter of 1916/17. The album has been generously shared with the Society by Roger Smith, Harry’s great-nephew.

Noah and I wish you a very merry Christmas and all the very best for 2026!
