Salonika recommended!

My thanks go to David Gallon for sharing a letter from today’s Daily Telegraph, alerting readers to the delights of visiting northern Greece and – in particular- sites associated with the Macedonian campaign.

For the sake of international harmony we should, of course, mention the part played by the French – key players in the allied army – and also the Italians!

The best way to see the area is, of course, on a Salonika Campaign Society tour with knowledgeable and experienced guides and you will find plenty of details on this website:
