This charming image is a reminder of the super collection of photographs from the campaign which can be seen online at the IWM – so no need for a visit! Just go to www.iwm.org.uk/collections. A simple search on ‘nurses salonika’ will reveal a treasure trove of images. More sombre are portraits of nurses who died during the campaign, such as Staff Nurse Edith Mary Cammack:
